Dear Ljubljana Tango Community,

 

We want to take a moment to deeply thank you for joining us on this journey so far. First of all, we want to extend a special thanks to Primož and Janja, who initially invited Gerónimo and gave us the opportunity to discover Ljubljana. Thanks to you, we found this wonderful place that has now become our home.

When we arrived in Ljubljana, we had no clear direction in our journey, but this city quickly won us over. It’s a safe country, full of nature, and with incredibly generous people. We are deeply grateful.

Our departure from Argentina was partly an escape from the economic and social situation, and at the same time, a search for adventure. We decided to stay here also because Romina began her training in Feldenkrais, and being in Ljubljana made that more convenient.

With great excitement, we started the Buenas Vibras Tango School project. It has been a beautiful journey, and we feel grateful to have had Julija, Galya, and Davor as part of the team. However, in recent times, the birth of Milo has demanded all of our energy, and we weren’t able to create the space needed for the team that supported us.

Now we feel the need to give new meaning to our purpose and our project. And so, Tango Infinito is born—a concept that is deeper and more meaningful to us. Tango Infinito represents how tango transcends generations, borders, and eras. It’s an expression of continuity, a dance without limits that unites souls and tells stories that never end. For us, this name symbolizes our personal connection with tango, which lives not only on the dance floor but also in our daily lives and in our desire to share it with others.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to say that we’re open to collaborating with other tango schools and teachers. Our main goal is for the tango community in Ljubljana to grow—both in level and in size. We believe that more available options and projects are essential to strengthening the local scene.
