Thirteen days in Buenos Aires, exploring the city’s vibrant tango life, from its most traditional corners to its contemporary expressions: discover the many faces of the tango beyond stereotypes and clichés. You’ll take classes, go out dancing, visit all the most important tango neighborhoods, rest, share.

*Pablo Villaraza & Carolina Lafatta
Pablo co-founded the iconic DNI Tango school. Together with Carolina, they transcend convention, bringing a contemporary presence infused with influences from other dance forms. Their tango has a poetic quality that lifts the spirit.

She brings Argentine folklore to life, chacareras and zambas danced as if in a sunlit patio of earth. Her movement evokes both historical memory and vibrant contemporary expression.

Extras
A full day in El Tigre (all inclusive)
A magical getaway to the river delta just outside the city, lush nature, canals, wooden docks, and a slower rhythm of life.
We’ll spend the day at the private home of renowned bandoneonist Hugo Satorre, surrounded by water and trees. There, we’ll enjoy a special live concert, good food, and deep connection, a unique way to experience another face of Buenos Aires.

An intimate and carefully curated walk through the heart of Buenos Aires, stories, history, hidden corners, and the cultural roots that shaped tango.

Early bird price (until March 15, 2026): 1990 euros in a twin room (+ 300 euros if you want a single room).
After March 15, 2026: 2190 euros (+ 300 euros if you want a single room).

Terms and Conditions
1. Reservation and Payment

To secure the Early Bird price, a €500 deposit per person is required, payable by bank transfer. This offer is valid until March 15, 2026.

After March 15, 2026, the deposit to secure a spot will be €1000 per person.

All deposits will be deducted from the total trip price.
-
50% of the total trip cost must be paid by May 5, 2026, and the remaining balance must be paid by August 5, 2025.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that committing to a journey involves planning, desire, and sometimes unforeseen circumstances. These policies are designed to care for both the participants and the project as a whole.
Cancellation by the participant

Until May 31, 2026
70% of the amount paid will be refunded.
The remaining 30% will be retained to cover administrative costs, reservations, and planning already in progress. -
From June 1 to July 31, 2026
40% of the amount paid will be refunded. -
From August 1, 2026 onwards
No refunds will be issued, as most travel-related costs are already committed at this stage.
Transfer of participation
If you are unable to attend the trip (September 16–30, 2026), your spot may be transferred to another person, provided that:

The organization is informed in advance.

The transfer is confirmed no later than August 1, 2026.
Force majeure
In cases of duly justified force majeure (such as serious medical issues or official travel restrictions), each situation will be evaluated individually, always seeking a fair and humane solution within the project’s possibilities.
Cancellation or modification by the organization
In the exceptional event that the trip is canceled by the organization, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded, or participants may choose to keep the amount as credit for a future edition of Esencia Tanguera.
3. Program Changes

While the dates of the classes and events have already been agreed upon with the artists, the itinerary and the participating artists are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control (e.g., force majeure, venue or teacher availability).

In case of changes, activities of equivalent value and quality will be provided.
4. Responsibility

Each participant is responsible for having travel insurance that covers health, accidents, and repatriation.

The organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, or personal injury that may occur during the trip.

Participants are responsible for meeting all immigration and health requirements to enter Argentina.
5. Acceptance
Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
