Contango Workshop - Irina Jabsa & Guadalupe Santiago (ARG)
Through connecting somatic education, tango, and Contact Improvisation , we'll delve into cultivating a fluid role dynamic. This will provide a platform for exploring the possibilities that arise in that threshold state where intention shifts into listening, and receptivity becomes active and engaged, thereby fostering a consent-driven dialogue that can lead to the emergence of an 'Inter-Role'.
Embrace, connection, qualities of contact, dynamic spirals, grounding, and flight will be some of the topics we explore during the session.
Who is the workshop for?
For dancers of each practice who wish to expand and deepen their knowledge. For beginners who wish to explore both dances playfully in an open and safe space.
